A social volunteering organization
Adammya Torun Sangho (ATS) is a youth-led voluntary organization based in Boagarchar village, Bakshiganj, Jamalpur. It has mobilized over 60 active members. The motto of this organization is “Empowered by youth, we transform society.” ATS has successfully implemented more than 22 impactful community projects, including education support, medical camps, animal vaccination camps, awareness programs, orphan support, disaster response, youth empowerment, and assistance for low-income families.
The vision of Adammya Torun Sangho (ATS) is to build a better society through volunteerism where no one is left out because of poverty, lack of education and social injustice.
While studying at university, Md. Mosharof Hosen became deeply concerned about his society, as he had known since childhood that his community struggled with poverty, illiteracy, and many other challenges. He realized that meaningful social change would be difficult without a dedicated voluntary organization. Motivated by this understanding, he brought together local youths and established a social volunteering organization named Adammya Torun Sangho (ATS), which means “Indomitable Youth Organization.” Many young people came forward, joined the initiative, and committed to providing continuous support
The journey of this changemaker organization officially began on 10 August 2020, under the leadership of him. Currently, he is serving as the Founder and President of this organization.
With the support of a foreign (Kuwaiti) donor, Adammya Torun Sangho (ATS) established its official office in just 10 days, marking a new milestone in its journey. This office has become the center for all activities, from planning to implementing community projects.
With this office space, ATS is now able to work more efficiently and serve the community more effectively.
ATS has been working for society for a long time without any political support or big funding. Though this organization has no big funding, it has already implemented many impactful projects in various areas for community development. Below is a summary of some important activities and projects that ATS has done successfully in the past.
One of the first projects of ATS was repairing a damaged village road, which caused problems especially in the rainy season. About 25 volunteers collected soil and worked diligently to fill and level it. Later, more young volunteers joined to complete the project.
The grateful villagers inspired us, marking the start of our journey as a dedicated humanitarian organization.
